Our Recent Renovation
I can shower everyday with a little bit less assistance...the amount of room allows easy ingress and egress out...I don't feel so claustrophobic or tight, which helps with the anxiety as well.

Bathroom Reno for a Hero
Renos for Summit City Heroes, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for disabled veterans and their families, recently completed a transformative renovation project. Our team skillfully reconfigured the bathroom layout, seamlessly integrating accessibility features while optimizing functionality and comfort.
Central to the renovation, we replaced a small shower with a spacious walk-in shower, removing the existing garden tub to accommodate this enhancement. Furthermore, we strategically rotated and extended the space for the stool, ensuring effortless accessibility for the veteran. Expanding the vanity and top, we introduced an additional sink and storage capacity, enhancing both utility and aesthetics.
A notable addition to the renovated space is the inclusion of a specialized bench equipped with directional water jets, meticulously designed to provide targeted relief for the veteran's back discomfort. Through meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, Renos for Summit City Heroes continues to make meaningful impacts in the lives of those who have served our country.
Your support enables us to undertake more projects like this, enriching the lives of deserving veterans and their families. Consider donating today to help us continue our mission of providing accessible, comfortable living spaces for those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.
